Akron Outdoor Grow Class

This outdoor grow class is a hands-on, real-world learning experience focused on growing cannabis outside in a way that works with nature, not against it. The goal is to help growers understand how to produce healthy plants, avoid common outdoor problems, and stay compliant with Ohio laws.

Students will learn how to:

• Grow cannabis outdoors using organic methods

• Build and maintain healthy living soil

• Be environmentally friendly and reduce impact on the surrounding ecosystem

• Optimize sunlight, airflow, spacing, and seasonal timing

• Identify and prevent common outdoor issues like pests, mold, and mildew

• Understand and follow Ohio cannabis laws for home cultivation

The class focuses on practical outdoor techniques, real mistakes to avoid, and ways to set your grow up for success before problems start.

After the class, the event continues with a free Outdoor Grow Your Own Vendor Day. The vendor day is open to the general public, and anyone is welcome to attend. Guests can stick around to enjoy vendors, a food truck, in-store sales, and more. It’s a relaxed, community-focused event built around learning, sharing, and supporting local growers.
